French term or phrase: Chroniqueur / euse musical
This has been asked before:

http://www.proz.com/kudoz/french_to_english/cinema_film_tv_d...

Correspondent, journalist, and reporter are the obvious choices but neither feels quite right.

On the CV of a show-biz personality. The job was hosting a music segment of a TV arts and culture magazine.

Other entries on the cv:
Chroniqueuse
Chroniqueuse et reporter culturel (note the distinction btwn. chroniqueuse and reporter)

Canadian French to North American English. All suggestions much appreciated!

Music TV Presenter

Explanation:
I watch the TV magazine and chat shows all the time on UK TV and the term "Presenter" is used most of the time, and then of course the relative subject area they are working in. It is sort of understood these days that Presenters of specialized areas on TV do their own research with the assistance of other team members and have some level of expertise knowledge in the area.

"Music TV Presenter" or even just "..our Presenter for music..." are commonly used types of terms that I have hear often. Music TV Presenting seems to be a popular skill to train in aswell, as you will see from these websites.

Example sentence(s):
  • "BBC Blast: Music TV Presenter Masterclass."
  • "Music TV Presenter School"
