rights of secondary and derived exploitation
Explanation:
While "secondary rights" is a fixed term, "exploitation derivee" seems somewhat more difficult to translate. However I think this just means forms of exploitation that are more than once removed from the original, i.e. tertiary etc.

Example sentence(s):
  • Making a programme or a feature film is not the end of the story regarding rights exploitation: it is possible to make decent revenue from exploiting secondary rights, such as soundtracks, merchandising and tie-ins
