French term or phrase:relâche
This is from a contract between a theatre and the producer of a concert to be held there next year. In the cancellation clause, the contract lists all the cases of force majeur, including "relâche ordonnée par les autorités publiques"
Here's the clause:
I'm assuming this means that public authorities order the theatre closed, but don't know what that is called in theatre or legal jargon.
Can anybody help?
