French term or phrase: journal de bord
This is an application for a funding grant. One of the people to be hired will have the task of preparing Internet material, including the "journal de bord".

I would have thought journal de bord is a blog, but the two terms are used together.

Source and target is Canada.

Example of usage:
"Effectuer la mise à jour du site Internet, alimenter le blog et mettre à jour le journal de bord."
and
"Collaborer à la rédaction des communiqués de presse, aux lancements, au Journal de bord et Blogue"

News list
Explanation:
I'm not so sure about 'log' - given its position alongside press releases, launches, etc., this sounds to me less like something technical (for which 'log' would suit) and more like the kind of 'News list' that many corporate websites have, which shows a regularly-updated list of company activity.

Thank-you for providing something other than 'blog' -- and for the Reference URL. You can get the points for adding the gloss, if you like.

journal blog

Explanation:
I think you are correct that it is a blog. Termium gives "journal blog" and this seems to refer to a blog that's more like a daily diary. The link below gives some references to different names of different types of blogs - it might be necessary to know what application the two blogs (the "blog" and the "journal de bord") have to choose which name applies to each. Perhaps the "blog" has lengthier articles posted less frequently while the "journal de bord" has short daily posts?
