Tech/Engineering - Computers: Software / software description
French term or phrase: fond de plan
Describing a piece of software: "Texte en dur sur le fond de plan de la page de garde". I think "fond de plan" is a footer (in this context) but I have also seen it used in cartography, where it means something like an overlay. Can anyone confirm (or not)?
