French to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Computers: Systems, Networks / Car park system
French term or phrase: Débourrage
What is the exact english term for débourrage?

This is with relation to an automatic cash terminal for a parking system.

Thanks in advance.

Explanation:
When bank notes get stuck, like with a fax machine, printer, etc.

removal of stuck bank notes

Or rather, in your context, "The machine can be opened at the back to service it, where stuck bank notes/coins can be removed".

I guess other things could get stuck, i.e. paper on which receipts are printed, etc....

No, not disassembling, "jams" was the word I was looking for in relation to fax machines, printers, other "automated paper-processing equipment", for want of a better term! Cheers Alain!

Thanks. Clearing jams, that is the term I used for the text and it makes a lot of sense. Thanks once again.

Asker: Even I thought of that...could this be disassembling or something like that?
