| Clarification request(s) and responsegad (asker): 6:43pm Jul 27, 2004: I was actually thinking something like 'soft shutdowns', but wasn't sure. We are talking about 'shutdown' of a computer, in this case. I originally thought 'soft boot', but I think that would be something more like 'relance', or 'lance'.
Allan Jeffs: 6:49pm Jul 27, 2004: Well, found a lot of references to 'soft start / stop' on the net. And in fact, you might be better to use 'soft start' in the example given it's a synomym for 'graceful restart'! -
