Can I translate this by 3G USB stick? Or is it something else? Many thanks for any suggestions

3G USB modem stick
Explanation:
is what they're called here:

As you are more than likely aware, "SFR" is a French mobile phone network so the "clé" here is being used for broadband Internet connection and not as a memory medium, as suggested by Barbara's answer.

Thanks, David, and to all of you for overwhelming peer consensus! I am adding dongle too - thanks Simon - because I have heard it used recently even though the word sounds vaguely suspect to my untrained ear... Hope this is OK with everyone

disagree  Tony M: No, it's not 3 GB (as for a memory stick), but 3G as in wireless communication

disagree  Charles Hawtrey: Tony's right. Anyway, flash drives are 2GB or 4GB but never 3GB.

disagree  rkillings: "(SFR)" tells you its a 3G wireless communication device, not a drive.

agree  Victoria Burns: Spot on - I bought one myself just last week and '3G modem stick' is exactly what it says on the box.

-> Thanks, Victoria - if it does what it says on the tin [box], that'll do for me!

agree  Simon Mountifield: You must have posted as I was still writing mine, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered! I think dongle and modem stick are pretty much synonymous - I see that Vodafone calls it a modem stick.

-> Thanks, Simon. "Dongle" is good too.

  -> Thanks, Anthony.

agree  Charles Hawtrey: Dongle also means a USB device for a "plug-in" serial no. key, so I'd avoid that term. 3G Modem Stick is spot on as Simon says.

agree  Juliette Scott: Yes but without "stick" many more occurrences. However to keep the idea of "clé" I would probably keep it anyway.

3G dongle

Explanation:
It's not a USB flash drive per se. Mobile phone operator SFR recently waded into the Internet market and offers Wi-Fi connectivity as part of its package. Basically, you get a 3G dongle (plug and play) that plugs into your computer's USB port and provides Wi-Fi access to the Internet. If you live in France, you may remember their ads a few months ago (they "pinched" ELO's "Mr Blue Sky" as the soundtrack). I seem to remember SFR boasting that subscribers would be able to use any Wi-Fi hotspot simply by plugging in their dongle (so-called "Internet everywhere").

3G dongles are a bit like Bluetooth dongles - the theory is that you can plug them into compatible devices (like between your PC and printer) and therefore do away with cables.

For more details, check out SFR's website. If you type 3G dongle on Google, you'll see that some other operators are also offering 3G dongles, such as AT&T, Orange and T-Mobile.
