French term or phrase: B.O.
In a document describing software used to manage toll payments through an automated system. Looks like a position held by someone, and I'm sure when I see it, it will be completely obvious, as these short acronyms tend to be...

* Le support, créé via l’Extranet ou l’interface, n’a pas été validé par le BO
* En attende de validation BO

This is only a guess, but BO is quite commonly used for Back Office, and it would certainly fit the context. However, in your position I would be inclined to either ask the client for confirmation up front, or at the very least flag the term up in your finished translation.

Asker: No need to ask the client - this is almost certainly it! "Back Office" appears several times in the document; I was just scanning all of the "French" B- O- terms to see what it could be, that I had overlooked the French-English one.
