Le mésocentre de calcul de Franche-Comté

Dans de nombreuses disciplines, des nanosciences aux sciences humaines et en passant par l'astrophysique ou la biologie, la recherche s'appuie sur des simulations et modélisations. Pour travailler à grande échelle, les chercheurs ont besoin de matériel informatique adapté au calcul haute performance. Ce besoin se fait également sentir dans certaines formations, par exemple dans le master Informatique. Pour pouvoir répondre localement à cette demande, la Franche-Comté se dote d'un MESOCENTRE DE CALCUL scientifique, un CENTRE D'UNE PUISSANCE INTERMEDIAIRE ENTRE LES RESSOURCES DES LABORATOIRES ET LES CENTRES NATIONAUX TELS QUE LE CINES.
