One of the replies to the question "why are you satisfied with your Microsoft Enterprise Agreement"?

The Agreement is a type of contract where suscribing companies can rent instead of own the rights to the software, and I think they get some accompanying service.

I agree to install the software on one home computer only and agree not to make copies of the software.
I agree to immediately remove the software from my home computer, and return any software media (such as CD ROMs or diskettes) issued to me for home use, upon the expiry of the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement (note that the current agreement expires on 30 June 2002).

agree  Charlie Bavington: somewhat loose, I've never seen "envoi" to mean "upgrade", even if in some circs, upgrade is the *result*. I'd say "automatic issuing" as per your 1st note, & I'm gonna 'agree' not post a different answer 'cos you made the effort to find that reference
