Tech/Engineering - Construction / Civil Engineering / roads | | French term or phrase: sable filérisé | "Dédiée aux piétons, aux vététistes, aux cavaliers et autres calèches, la Voie verte bénéficiera d’aménagements basés principalement sur une mise aux normes des dix ouvrages d’art empruntés (ponts et tunnels) tout en privilégiant leur aspect originel. Deux tunnels d’une longueur de 1 km seront ainsi entièrement restaurés dans l’esprit de leurs concepteurs, et sécurisés par un balisage lumineux.
Toujours en matière de sécurité, les gardes-corps des ponts seront réhaussés, et les croisements routiers dotés d’une signalisation spécifique. De son côté, la chaussée sera traitée à la façon d’un chemin rural pour favoriser l’intégration de la voie dans le milieu naturel. Comme sur la majeure partie de l’itinéraire, c’est la technique dite du **« sable filérisé »** qui a été retenue.
L’ouverture complète des 58 km de la Voie verte, entre Foix et Saint-Girons, est programmée pour le mois de juin prochain. |
