French term or phrase: Coffrage de travail
Context:

formwork/shuttering

Explanation:
I'm not a civil engineer, but my understanding of "coffrage" is the wooden shuttering used to hold concrete in place before it sets. See eg. http://www.pavingexpert.com/formwk01.htm and http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coffrage

formwork

Explanation:
For me, it just means formwork.
At a pinch you could probably say 'construction formwork' if it bothers you.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thanks for your help Miranda, I was just not sure whether "de travail"/"debut" etc meant anything more specific - what do you think the "face contre-coffrage" is?
