French to English translations [PRO] Cooking / Culinary / Diplôme d'études professionnelles | | French term or phrase: Cuisine d'établissement | I'm translating a 'Diplôme d'études professionnelles' from Quebec, and the person has been awarded this diploma in 'Cuisine d'établissement'. After doing some research, it seems that some websites (like this bilingual one: http://www.lasallecollege.com/fr-ca/programs/dep_5311_hotell... ), translate the the term as 'Professional Cooking', whereas others, (like: http://www.skillscanada.com/index.php?option=com_docman&task... use 'Culinary Arts', which seems slightly more vague. I think I prefer 'Professional Cooking', but I just wanted to see if anyone could confirm this or had any other ideas.
Any help would be appreciated. |

Especially since you are looking at it in terms of a profession.
