French term or phrase:Parfait glacé au marc de Champagne et sa tuile à la fraise
Now here is a dessert... I can imagine what it may represent...but as this is a 4 star restaurant, my imagination may not be well appreciated at this point...any ideas.
Parfait glacé is fine but after that...??? Being a part time freelance translator doesn't permit me often to go to these type of restaurants. Thanks for any input...

a type of biscuit like a 'tuile' in English is often called a 'thin', even though a strawberry one sounds a little bit odd

Try regarding visits to such restaurants as ESSENTIAL RESEARCH (and thus tax-deductibel!) :-)
I must admit, for this grade of restaurant, I personally would prefer not to translate, given the 'added value' cachet of a French menu, even in an English restaurant
