Thanks for pointing this out. Looking at the menu in this light, I do think it is quite likely that it is a desert choice and a separate drink choice put together in a topographically confusing way. I will raise this issue with the client before making a final decision.

I have to say I tend to agree with Isabelle here: given the rather poorly expressed list in your other question, I can't help thinking this is indeed 2 separate items: an ice-cream (or sorbet, of course!) dessert — though it's probably more likely in fact to be some kind of ready-made ice-cream like an Eskimau, Cornetto, etc. — and a drink: e.g. squash

Oh, and PS, Michael: "gratinée"?! I think you meant 'granité' > 'granita', didn't you — ice-cream would tend to melt if browned in the oven, don't you think? ;-)

As you put a capital letter to Sirop, I am reading it as : ice cream and as a drink : Sirop à l'eau - which is hard ot find outside of France. But it is often a drink on children's menu in France !!
