French to English translations [PRO] Cooking / Culinary | | French term or phrase: pendant 2 x 20 minutes | Okay, I've never seen this before - do they mean heat in the oven for 20 minutes and stir and then return to the oven for another 20 minutes? Or do they really just mean heat in the oven for 40 minutes? Here is the sentence:
Passer le tout dans un four ventilé à 100°C pendant 2 x 20 minutes environ, en remuant légèrement le candissoire, de manière à attendrir les quartiers de fruits. |
