But maybe a translator's explanation would be necessary?

disagree  Drmanu49: This is a single jury if I read the question correctly. For me passe second groupe means proceeds to the second stage of testing, not allowed a second chance.

  -> this response is late no doubt but I don`t understand yr remark, yes it`s one jury - it is the decision of the jury that the candidate must take the oral.

disagree  Sheila Wilson: some subjects are examined early - you have to pass them to go into the final year. Many never take the first oral - some pass the first and don't need to take the second - there is no link

  -> Never heard of that for the Baccalauréat.
disagree  katsy: Yes that ref is confusing. The '2e groupe' is in the bac year,but could be taken in subject taken early. Still true that 2e groupe is for those who would have failed Bac without it; they didn't pass the 1er groupe. Agree it's in the one session.

  -> I still disagree with what she said, the two groups are in on and single session, "you have to pass them to go into the final year" is what I disagree with. Check the program for this year in my refs.
