French term or phrase:relais
One of the objectives of a course on marketing - students should be able to:
"expliquer le relais du marketing opérationnel par rapport au marketing stratégique".
I sort of see what 'relais' means here, but how should it be expressed in English?
this crops up all the time - is there nothing in the glossaries? "Relais" in the sense of "prendre le relais" i.e. take over from, take up where the other leaves off. How one follows on from the other.....
