French term or phrase: soutenance décalée
An agreement between a university in France and one in Spain. There is a table saying where they spend each year. (the cells say "France" or "Spain". In the 5th year, students from both institutions can study at either ("Au choix"). Below "au choix" it says "soutenance décalée". Only one hit on the web, and that's on a forum. Any idea what this might mean?

Thanks guys. It actually became clear later on in the text. It refers to the work placement. French students have to take an extra semester in Spain, so their work placement is done at the end of the second semester.
