French term or phrase: bulletin / rapport
XX permet d’attribuer un ou plusieurs modules pour un type de classe ainsi que l’ordre d’apparition dans le bulletin et le coefficient....
Sur chaque matière vous pouvez paramétrer l'ordre d’affichage dans le bulletin...
It's a software program about organising school related information.

The best translation I can find is "report", but I also have "rapports de notes" later in the document and even one part with both together: Suivi scolaire / Rapports des notes / Bulletin + Relevés + Synthèse (i.e. bulletin is a subcategory of Rapports des notes).
So which one do I use "report" as the translation for, and what do I say for the other? :) I know that at least one must be the report sent to parents about a pupil's progress... Thanks!

A report card is a periodical summary of a student's standing;
it shows the student's marks in different subjects, the class average, his/her absenteism/tardiness, his/her effort, the teachers' remarks, etc.

teacher's comments / report

Explanation:
French and English reports in my personal experience are very similar in that the report consists of three main sections

1. the marks gained in each subject
2. comments by the teacher of each subject
3. overall comment on the puil's progress by the head teacher

I believe the 'rapport' is the whole report, made up of 1.relevé 2.bulletin 3.synthèse

disagree  Josephine79: Sorry but I'm a teacher in a French school and the three things you mention above are the three parts of the REPORT, not the "rapport"
