receipt/exoneration, acquittance Explanation: Should be one of the two. CEC is the Caisse d'epargne et de consignations (used to be the only one bank for the large public. Thsi is my opinion. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 15 mins (2008-02-14 09:24:32 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Note: When someone in Romania deals with the public service (gov't institutions and request something, that institution asks h/her to pay a tax and that is generally almost uniquely paid to CEC and they ask you to present that receipt as a proof of paying the tax, so I am sure the right translation is RECEIPT). You may skip the rest which would be good for the glossary in other instances and for other types of banks and situations. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 18 mins (2008-02-14 09:27:32 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- CEC is not translated into English yet, not even on their site, English version: https://www.cec.ro/index.php?id=1&L=1 and therefore you can keep CEC when you translate and add a note, if necessary. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 5 days (2008-02-19 12:11:09 GMT) Post-grading -------------------------------------------------- Thanks! |
