French term or phrase: maturité avec mention
Certificate for the Swiss 'Maturité'.

I understand it means obtained with an average of grade 5 or above, but ideally I would like to know what this would be equivalent to in terms of A-levels (approximately). Otherwise, is there a standard way of translating this?

Thanks a lot!

[High School] diplom with distinction
Explanation:
normally , according to my Robert Collins, "avec mention" would be with distinction, if the average grade is 5 and above, that would be the case here; need confirmation from colleagues, low CL
