I would say: Tutors will appraise students' work [within an educational context such as teaching].

neutral  Tony M: Yes, except they seem to be making some distinction between 'tuteurs' and 'évaluateurs', which you have just left out? / Problem is, it may be deliberate that these 'évaluateurs' are specifically NOT mentors; risks over-interpretation?

-> Fair point. 'Tutors and mentors', perhaps?

assessor

Explanation:
I can't help thinking that 'assessor' may be more applicable, it is certainly used in this and other similar contexts.

Note that it scores slightly more Google hits (though hardly enough to be statistically valid anyway), but that a number of the Ghits for 'student evaluator' are in fact red herrings, referring to other things (like e.g. software) and not to the person doing the actual job.

So 'assessor' might at least have the advantage of being unambiguous...

When I was a lecturer in Higher Education in the UK, we had a very important yearly visit from the 'external assessors' who were there to 'moderate' the graduation marks awarded internally.
