French term or phrase: Bibliothèque Centre Documentaire
In a school report card on the list of the pupil's reading/writing abilities:
* Maîtriser la technique de la lecture
* Trouver un livre en BCD
....

Is there any way I can say this in English, or should I just stay with the French acronym? I *hope* it's Bibliothèque Centre Documentaire, but I am not 100% sure.

School library
Explanation:
I think you are right with BCD meaning "Biblioteque/Centre Documentaire", see the definition below:

I wouldn't leave it in French, however - I would use "school library" as presumably the skill which this is measuring is the child's ability to use the classification system in the school library to find the book they need.

agree  bookwormkt: Library would be fine. Some schols in UK have 'posh' names like Interactive Learning Centre for the Library, as they have computers with internet access, DVDs etc in there, but Library fits with 'finding a book'.
