This is feedback from a student at a Canadian faculty of education commenting on a course delivered online. His experience was positive, despite some initial reservations. "De plus, après avoir été contraint à poursuivre le cours de français suite à mon résultat de réussite ***avec appoint***, je me sais meilleur et beaucoup plus confiant dans mon français écrit."

Canadian Universities (as well as other universities elsewhere) offer "des cours d'appoint" complementary lessons/courses for students who are weak in a subject.

L'Ecole de français langue étrangère est rattachée à la Faculté des lettres. Elle offre des cursus d'études complets ou des cours d'appoint de français portant sur la langue et la culture française et francophone.
