Social Sciences - Education / Pedagogy
French term or phrase: Enseignement superieur pedagogique de plein exercice et de type court
The above is found on a degree certificate.
English translation:Qualification to teach to the age of 16
"enseignement superieur" is "university education"
"pédagogigue" - in teacher training
Not sure about "de plein exercice" - sounds as if it means something like "full entitlement" (to teach)
"enseignement court" is full-time education up to the age of 16, as opposed to
"enseignement long" - full-time education up to the age of 18.
You can verify some of this information from Collins Robert, French-English, English-French Dictionary, Unabridged, Third Edition.
