Tech/Engineering - Electronics / Elect Eng / Testing of transducer assembly on a tester
French term or phrase: "Tourniquet de préchauffe "
This is the title of an apparatus for pre-heating & regulation of transducers.
This term constitutes a part of a 'transducer's tester document'.

Can it be called "pre-heating turnstile"?

Preheated turnstile
Explanation:
I thought 'turnstile' was used more for people and animals, but it seems it is used for mechanical apparatuses too (see explanation no. 7 in wiktionary).

I would use 'preheated' in this case rather than 'preheating' because the turnstile is preheated, but it is used for the preheating of transducers - it's just a question of word order and grammar - but perhaps your way ('a pre-heating turnstile') is the correct one (I'm not an expert in this field!). Hopefully other people can shed some light on whether it should be 'preheated' or 'preheating' turnstile.
