French to English translations [PRO]

La captation audiovisuelle des séances de conférence ou de formation se déroulant dans l'Amphithéâtre et l'Auditorium et leur diffusion en salle passe par l'utilisation (dans chacune des régies) d'une grille de commutation des signaux par laquelle transitent tous le signaux audiovisuels. Seule cette grille permet leur réception et leur *affectation.*
Not being very familiar with this technology, I'm not sure if the term is "assign" or something else.

As I see it, the signals are routed through a switching matrix (I think this is the term for "grille") to their respective destinations; this is just an idea, and obviously, I remain open to correction from colleagues, hence the "low" ranking. |
