French to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Electronics / Elect Eng
French term or phrase: bornier de branchement
Context:
Cette armoire comprendra les différents organes de protection et commande des portes, (contacteur, inverseur, transformateur, temporisation, BORNIER DE BRANCHEMENT, repère protection thermique du moteur, sectionneur à fusible, etc...).

I thought of switchboard but I'm not certain. Could it be?

terminal block (for connection)
Explanation:
The '(for connection)' is really rather redundant in EN, unless for some reason there are several diferent 'borniers' and this particualr one has to be distinguished.

Do note, however, that the precise term required in EN will depend a lot on the actual form it takes (rather than simply its function, as in FR), and so you really ought to try and find out more details (perahps a picture?) if you can, to be certain of getting exactly the right term.
