I am translating an invoice for work done on a building.

Under the section"Eclairage" there is the following entry:
"Mise en place et fourniture d'un boitier cloison séche" the unit price is €22.70

Grand dictionnaire says "dry wall" for "cloison séche" but that doesn't make sense here with regard to lighting.

neutral  Tony M: Right for 'drywall', but not necessarily 'junction box' — this is quite likely to be simply a 'back box', into which some other electrical accessory will be installed (switch, socket, etc.) / The quoted price includes fitting!

agree  xxxBourth: Indeed, walls of different construction will - ideally - have different embedded housings. I suspect this is the housing for a light switch, though, not a junction box / The ones my electrician is currently installing come at between €14 & 16 HT ...
