Tech/Engineering - Electronics / Elect Eng / Diode failure investigation | | French term or phrase: Si le stress électrique n’est pas avéré | Actually I'm not asking for a translation of the term, but your opinion on the phrasing of the "sentence", with the following sentence after my asterisks. The "sentence" of course lacks a verb, and I'm thinking that the two should be run into a single sentence for it to make sense.

I agree with you. I suspect that should be a comma and continued thought, since the two ideas are related: (rough idea, not a translation, follows) if the results of the stress test aren't visible, then one explanation/hypothesis [possible explanation] is that a structural weakness was introduced during testing affected the chips enough that the current couldn't pass through and thus leave its [expected] mark. |
