What are these headings actually for? I can imagine so many ways all this might be interpreted, it's hard to decide without really getting to grips with your overall context (feel free to send me the doc in private).

I suspect it is more something to do with 'thermal trip current setting must be consistent with the isolating links used' — but without more context, I could be way off!

I think then you need to consider both expressions as 'conventionnel avec' and 'conditionnel avec' — I suspect the first one has the basic meaning of 'consistent with' ('in agreement with'?); it's a little hard to tell without having more of your context, but I suspect in some way the rated current (of the load?) needs to be consistent with the fuse ratings of the circuit, etc. Presumably, in the 'condtionnel' one, it's the opposite.

As for 'thermique', be aware that this is sometimes short for 'relais thermique' (which I've found as 'thermal relay'), but sometimes I've found it as an adjustable setting on a circuit-breaker, in which case, I've tended to use 'thermal trip (setting)' — but you have to treat each instance individually, according to what is around it.

Is 'conventionnel' only ever found with 'avec'? If so, I suspect we have another meaning here, albeit that I've never come across before.

Note: in case you haven't already found it, 'thermique' probably has a special meaning here too!
