French to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Energy / Power Generation / solar power plants
French term or phrase: productible
General Characteristics of the (solar power) Project:

"le productible annuel et mensuel estimé et le rapport entre la surface totale occupée par l'installation et le productible annuel"

I'm thinking along the lines of "generating capacity". Can anyone confirm? Thanks

generation potential
Explanation:
That's what I've used and seen used in relation to hydro projects, where it relates to the available water . In your case it is of course the hours and intensity of sunlight.

A plant could have a generating capacity higher or lower than the generation potential. Ideally they would be matched, but weather conditions could upset things, one way or the other (too little or too much rain or sun).
