French term or phrase: massifs des transformateurs
I'm having trouble with two parts of this sentence. The part I'm wondering about in this post is "massifs des transformateurs". Here is the entire sentence:

Les transformateurs seront mis en place sur des rails au niveau des longrines des **massifs des transformateurs**.

It appears that they are using "massif" as a noun rather than an adjective. The whole sentence seems to be poorly written - or I'm missing something entirely.

Thanks

foundation blocks/concrete foundation
Explanation:
Massif in french is the foundation (usually concrete) on which the transformers would be anchored to.
Here the transformer is placed on stringers, I presume are sitting on the foundation.
