My try:
In the wind turbine field, the wind turbine blades are not only subjected to important efforts in the axis of the/each blade (stress called axial), but also very important stress radially …. with respect to the blade axis and the rotor hub (stress thus called radial).
Can it be “acted”? I found it in my vocab, but have forgotten where I got it from
