Hello,

I don't understand the sentence is bizarre,

"Concernant les billes 17,17b,170b correspondantes, il est recommandé, s’il y en a plusieurs séries, qu’elles présentent toutes le même diamètre, tel D30 figure 4, les rouleaux des deux rangées extrêmes étant également de préférence tous identiques : diamètre repéré D4 figure 4, ceci en particulier pour les applications palier de pale d’éolienne. Dans d’autres applications pour lesquelles un effort axial serait prépondérant dans une direction privilégiée, le diamètre D30 des corps (ou éléments) roulants 17b,170b de la/des rangées intermédiaires pourrait être inférieur à D4."

  -> Thanks, Chris! Oh dear me yes... though I suppose it does avoid any possiiblity of confusing it with just any old 4 mm dia. that may appear elsewhere in Fig. 4 (since D4 is used for that in FR in a way that is unusual in EN)
