French to English translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Engineering: Industrial / specifications | | French term or phrase: boîte noire (in context!) | Although this usually means 'black box/flight recorder', I wondered if anyone agrees that in this instance, it means something along the lines of blank areas/unknowns etc.
It is for work carried out on an industrial boiler.
La documentation doit fournir tous les élements au personnel du maitre d'ouvrage pour maintenir l'équipment en bon état et ceci à long terme. Elle doit également permettre au maitre d'ouvrage d'effectuer son propre engineering en vue de modifications ou d'extensions. Aucune <<boîte noire>> ne sera acceptée.
Thanks for your feedback, if it is not black box, any better ideas than 'blank areas'?
Thanks! |
