Tech/Engineering - Engineering (general) / sanitation; water
French term or phrase: coques et cunettes
I know these are two terms, but I suspect they are very closely related and help to explain each other, so I hope I can get away with it. I think it something to do with concrete products and I have found a website that refers to them in French (see Stanton Bonna website) but I am still on the trail of exactly what these are...I think they are some type of moulding made of FRP (fibreglass reinforced polyester). I would be most grateful if anyone can tell me exactly what these are. Here's the context:

rings and benching

Explanation:
Can't guarantee it, but reading between the lines these might be the two principal components of manholes, i.e. the modular rings that line the shaft, and the bottom of the manhole through which the water runs. The bottom section usually has a central channel with "shoulders" or "benching" on either side.

hull and cunettes

Explanation:
according to GDT cunette=cunette and here's the def:
if it applies to your case - is there a polyester canal/pipe to run off the water or other liquid?
for coques I have found shell, and hull, again, I'm not 100% sure of these in your context
