French term or phrase: commande bi-manuelle sensitive maintenue
Well, this one is self-explanatory, if not self-translating...!

The operator has to place (and keep) his two hands on the command for the machine to run... Any ideas for a neat translation?

PS This is not a train but an assembly machine!

Explanation:
looked around in the internet, bi-manual control is a term employed, touch sensitive is also employed

touch sensitive is also employed

I think this web site will help

but I mean "touch sensitive" in combination with the rest of sentence.
I leave it up to you to decide whether to play with words or use it straight foward as it is used
