I am sorry, that I cannot make the numbers in this formula subscript, but no way to do that. Anyway, the symbol "Bo" is used throughout this document as if it were an element, but this symbol does not exist on the periodic table. Does anyone know what this compound or substance is?

Here is a sentence containing the formula and reference to "Bo".

On prépare un agent corrodant contenant, en poids, 97% de Bo2O3, 1.2% de C et 1.8% de Bo.

Thanks in advance!

this has to be it and the "o" is indeed superfluous

Notes to answerer
Asker: Yes, that is right. As I noted in my question there is no element with the symbol of Bo. However, the text contains this as a symbol for an element. I will just have to make a note of it to the client. Thanks for confirming what I thought was correct. Laura
