French term or phrase: ventilo-condenseur
This, I am sure, is a 'Dusty' question... not one that has been left in the closet too long and gathered dust, but one that Dusty is sure to be able to answer!

I googled the term and got some relevant hits, but was unsure as to whether this might be a 'fan condenser' or a 'condenser fan', if either.

I have the term appearing in a very short piece simply requesting a technical inspection:

Groupe froid:

-verification manuelle de la libre rotation de chacun des 20 ventilo-condenseurs;

- etat general et si possible photo du tableau electrique) presence d'eau, traces d'humidite, etat des contacteurs, des connections...)

however, answers from persons other than Dusty are also very welcome! :)

Explanation:
Since to the best of my knowledge a condenser does not rotate, it makes sense that you should be talking about the fans here.

The condensers in question would be "forced air/draught condensers" (I think there are other terms), but here you appear to be talking about the "condenser fans".

agree  Terry Richards: They sound like integrated condensor/fan units. But, as Bourth says, the fan is the bit that rotates so "condenser fans" covers it.
