French term or phrase:anneau surmoulé de silicone.
Anneaux isolants S--MENS – X a achevé le développement et la qualification du nouvel ***anneau surmoulé de silicone***.
S--MENS est leader en matière de caténaires urbaines...
I have translated this as 'cast-moulded silicone ring' but am wondering if this is correct. Does 'surmoulé' mean that the ring was moulded from a cast (or 'casting' - not sure what the correct term is). Sorry not to be able to offer further context than what is here.

I think I am going to have to go with this answer, as it seems to be the most logical and feasible to me. And I think 'encapsulated' is a very logical translation of 'surmoule' if you break the term down and think about what it can actually mean in the context.
