Bus/Financial - Engineering (general) / natural gas capacity pricing
French term or phrase: souscriptions quotidiennes de capacité journalière
Daily capacity subscriptions (for drawing off gas from a natural gas network, in this context) - got that, but is this all it means? Is there a reason for the repeating of the 'daily' here.... quotidienne/journaliere..... or is it a case of French tautology? Just want to make sure I am not missing something.

Can anyone help? This has been driving me nuts!

daily capacity subscriptions for (average) consumption per 24h
Explanation:
I know in France my 'daily capacity subscription' (electricity, this was), ie. the amount of my fixed charge was in effect linked to the thickness of my cables and a setting on my meter. But the company could theoretically change this at any time independently of my consumption. So I see it as a charge that can vary based (among other things on market price which can vary a great deal as we all know) on a less variable factor like physical capacity, maybe pipe diameter, which is less variable and depends on totally different parameters.
Clear? I've just about understood what I am attempting to say.
