This is from a nuclear company's EHS manual/ checklist for managers. At issue is cleanup of historic pollution at a given site and measuring the doses to which the population is exposed:

Par exemple, les doses absorbées par les populations sont calculées à partir de régimes alimentaires types qui sont différents selon les tranches d’âge. Ainsi, l’eau des puits consommée, l’eau d’arrosage, les transferts racinaires et foliaires pour les légumes et les fruits, les poissons, les œufs,… sont pris en compte. Les doses inhalées et ingérées ainsi reconstituées de manière enveloppe, sont comparées à des références toxicologiques et le risque est exprimé par rapport à des valeurs repères.
