Tech/Engineering - Environment & Ecology / waste disposal
French term or phrase: chariot GRV
A type of container/bin used to dispose of chemical/medical waste. Specifically it is used for "flaconnages vides et emballages des DCT, Flacons non rincés contenant des résidus de produits dangereux, autres dechets chimiques solides". My document describes them as follows:

Les chariots GRV
Capacité : 660 litres, dimensions extérieures L 600 x I 400 x h 320.

But I cannot for the life of me work out what GRV stands for, and therefore whether there is an equivalent container used in the UK.

Thanks in advance.

lists numerous instances from UN and EU sources where GRV <=> IBC.

TAUS (http://www.tausdata.org/index.php/language-search-engine) also lists a good number of confirming instances.

Example:

'71° Empty packagings, including empty intermediate bulk containers (IBCs), ...
