Notwithstanding the fact that "anthropoconstruit" is a bastard word, "anthropogenic" (which isn't) is, in my view, too general in this context. Global warming is believed to be anthropogenic, as was the rapid evolution of the peppered moth in the 19th century, ie "caused" by man. I would describe the Naxca geoglyphs, the pyramids, and satellites,for example, as man-made, not anthropogenic. FR also uses "anthropogénique", so the author is, I think, attempting to make a distinction between the two. |
