I needed to post a question to test a problem -- I have an outstanding support ticket about being upable to accept answers and have been asked to post a question to test the process.
I remember back in the day when working at a gas station, that we some smaller trucks (and many taxis) would run on both gasoline (petrol) and natural gas (gas/LNG). The engine didn't technically use both at the same time, but was set up to switch between the two in the middle of driving.
I'm wondering if it might be something like that rather than an electric/diesel hybrid. Since the original is vague in this regard, perhaps "mixed fuels" would work?
When I Goggled hybrid lorry, I found references to hybrid meaning dual-powered. (e.g. http://idmilano.com/blog/?p=64). Leslie, can you provide a source showing mixte=hybride in this context?
