Unfortunately we can't see your full document, so it is difficult to know exactly what they intend by microfinance. Unfortunately, terms coined in English can change usage in another language. Microfinance in French is also used in the sense of banking

It seems to be a microfinance bank. They tak about their "guichet" and cheque books and internet terminals - it sounds quite bank-like to me. Hence my puzzlement. So I don't think "microfinance bank" will do, because it's "banque OU microfinance"
And, Juliebarba, it's virtually th same question as before because, despite all the agree-ers, I didn't think it was really answered. I knew what microfinance was, I was puzzled by the ET. Like the OU now. But I think Paul's suggestion is a good solution. Even though I'm not entirely covinced that I understand the source text.
