Bus/Financial - Finance (general)
French term or phrase: évalue de manière prévisionnelle
Hi there, I'm just working on a short document relating to the finance-related activities within a particular Group. I am struggling with how to translate the above phrase "neatly". Any ideas most welcome!

The entire phrase is as follows:

"Dans le cadre de ses activités, la Direction Financière évalue de manière prévisionnelle les emplois et les ressources du Groupe et met en place les instruments financiers adaptés à ces prévisions qui sont régulièrement présentées et validées par le Conseil."

Hello,

I think that "forecast-based assessment" will fit the bill.

I hope this helps.

projects... (drop Évaluer etc. completely in English)

Explanation:
For natural (US) English I would discard the verb 'évaluer" and just say:

Among its activities, Finance projects the Group's employment and resources, and deploys appropriate financial instruments for the forecasts which are regularly presented to, and approved by the Board.

-projects is the most common verb used in this business context

-For US corporatespeak, if Direction Financière is capitalized in French, just use 'Finance'. That is most common.

-approval is US corporatesoeak for French 'valider'

NB Drop the and in my sentence between "resources, and deploys...", Just leave the comma.
